The cast of DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES have had their knickers locked up after a thief stole star Eva Longoria 's underwear and tried to sell it. Security scared off a man attempting to flog the frilly items outside the show's studios in Los Angeles. Lingerie belonging to NICOLETTE SHERIDAN and Teri Hatcher is also suspected to have gone astray. An insider says, "Nobody knows if the guy is just a weirdo or a hustler trying to make a few bucks on eBay, but security got to him and chased him away. "The actresses are furious at the thought of their most intimate clothing being auctioned off to the public." Pint size hottie Eva Longoria reportedly has had some of her panties raided by a thief on the set of ABC's popular night time soap opera Desperate Housewives. Reportedly the person wanted to auction the undergarments and cash in on fame of the sexy stars.An insider says, "Nobody knows if the guy is just a weirdo or a hustler trying to make a few bucks on eBay, but security got to him and chased him away. Jennifer Aniston had her underwear stolen recently while on location. The actress was on location in Chicago filming "The Break Up" with co star Vince Vaughan when the incident happened. According to the Mirror a thief broke into her trailer and stole her lingerie which he sold on eBay. Aniston was horrified when she found out and hired several minders to prevent further break in. The source told the paper:" Jen really freaked out."

BLACK EYED PEAS singer FERGIE asked her record label to increase the security on her London apartment - after an obsessive fan broke into her back garden and stole her underwear. The SHUT UP star - real name STACY FERGUSON is reported to be shaken-up after an over-zealous devotee forced their way through the gate and took underwear the singer had hanging up in the garden. A source says, "She spent the day in the recording studio last week working on their new album and when she returned to the flat, she found that the side gate which backs onto a public footpath was open. "Taking advantage of the hot weather, she'd hung out a few bits of washing in the morning. "She was shaken-up to find someone had forced their way through the gate, taken two pairs of knickers and had left the rest behind. "She's asked her record company to get a house alarm."

Bosses on CAMERON DIAZ's new movie have hired 24-hour security to guard her underwear, after a crafty crew member stole three pairs of her panties. The thief struck on three separate filming locations for comedy IN HIS POCKET. An on-set source says, "He's been fired but security guards now work extra shifts to monitor Cameron's personal possessions at all times. "They jokingly call themselves the Panty Patrol - and they couldn't be happier. They are earning bundles of overtime pay for the cushiest job ever."

Lost beauty Evangeline Lilly knew she had hit the big time when a young fan stole her knickers off the washing line at her Hawaiian home. The 26-year-old Canadian who plays Kate Austen on the show was amazed when a close friend recounted how she saw an adolescent snatching the underwear from her back garden. She says, "I had a friend staying who heard a knock at the door while she was in the shower. "By the time she got to the door, she saw a 12-year-old boy stealing my knickers off the washing line. "I never got them back!"

OSCAR winner HALLE BERRY is fearing for her safety after a burglar broke into her Los Angeles home and went through her underwear drawer. The MONSTER'S BALL actress - who split from husband ERIC BENET last month (SEP03) - was horrified when she discovered an intruder had crept into her house while she was there to rifle through her closets. She says, "Somebody broke into my house two weeks after I moved in. I don't know what he stole. He went through my underwear. I don't know how much I had, so I don't know if he took any. "It was kind of weird."
